Redpoint Design/Build
“Historic window restoration: After researching the costs and benefits of replacing versus restoring 30 original windows on our 100+ year old home, we contracted with Redpoint for restoration. The windows had been painted countless times; many were painted closed or were impossible to close completely b/c of paint accumulation; they leaked cold air in the winter; cords on many were broken or nonfunctioning; glazing was deteriorating. Redpoint provided meticulous restoration, stripping paint, reglazing and repainting, replacing cords -- all the windows are functional, attractive, clean (!) and ready for the next 100 years. Working with our project lead, Belinda Mott, was a pleasure -- she is passionate about historic preservation, friendly, communicative, informative and meticulous. The project came in under budget; communication with Redpoint staff was smooth; we are very satisfied with the outcome.”
