“I have been going to ‘Soothing Touch laser’, since February 2019 and have been hooked ever since! Hooked on hair removal treatments and hooked with the quality service. Permanent hair removal treatments have been something I wanted to do pretty much since I was a teenager. When I had that first appointment, it was truly a dream come true. These treatments have been life changing and an absolute blessing. Apart from the laser treatments, the owner and staff are professional, kind, and knowledgeable in every sense. I have had Nancy (The owner) do almost all of my treatments. She will make you feel comfortable and at ease, as well as answer any questions or concerns you have. She is very easy to get along with! Melissa has also done some of my treatments the last few years and she also makes you feel comfortable when doing treatments. She is very knowledgeable and any questions or concerns you have, she is helpful. “Had my first laser session with Mary yesterday, and I cannot say enough good things about it. Located in the New Hartford Shopping Center, the first impression you get when you walk in to the waiting room is very calm, clean, posh business. It's tastefully decorated - Mary also shares the space with Sandy, who does nails, spray tans, etc. Mary went over all of the paperwork and disclaimers of having the procedure. She tested a patch on my arm with her laser just to make sure I was comfortable before we proceeded (I ended up having my legs and underarms treated). Mary was test-driving a new laser, not her regular one, so my experience may be a bit different from others, but the laser was SO COMFORTABLE, there was barely any snapping on my skin. First, Mary smooths on some sonogram gel to the area she's treating, and then goes over with the laser. The laser gets a little warm, but the sensation isn't unpleasant. I've had laser in the past, and it was painful, to the point where at times I suffered burns on my skin. I was shocked at how painless this was. The whole process, full legs and underarms, took about an hour, although it seemed faster. I paid $250 for the session, although it will fluctuate depending on the amount of hair you have and the number of treatments you need, and what areas you are having treated. I thought Mary's prices were fair and reasonable, and I will definitely be back.“
