Terrible lack of communications from sales staff. House was to be set at ground level with no need for porches or lots of steps. Those that dug the foundation claim they did not know that. When house was finally set even though my husband kept saying the wall was too high we now have to put on porches and have several steps. Flooring throughout is wavy. Flooring in one part is actually coming up after 1 year of living here. Have had huge issues with windows and get no results. Checked with our attorney who told us to file with nysbattorney general which we have. Would never recommend.
We moved into our new house 3 months ago and we couldn’t be happier. Even after we’ve moved in, key has responded quickly to minor things that have come up and I have no doubt they will continue to throughout the warranty.
We had a complicated build for a number of reasons but key was helpful. At times, things moved slower than I would have hoped but even when they were slow I knew that the quality was first priority. My only other complaint is that the house is not painted but only primed so over the next year or so we will have to have spaces we haven’t painted yet painted.
We are celebrating our 25 th anniversary in our modular home. I can’t even begin to tell you how happy we are with it. as a matter of fact, we are looking at doing it again in our retirement. My first place to go would be key home. We worked with Pete many years ago. He was professional always there when we had a question or if there was an issue. The timeline that was given to us was right on. We were six hours away while this process was going on and it felt like we were there the entire time. Looking forward to our next interaction with the company.
