I have been going to the Clifton Park Vent for almost a year now and I am enjoying my membership. The equipment is well maintained and the locker room is always clean. I have not tried any of the classes, so I can not speak to those. I usually arrive between 730am - 830am during the week and have yet to struggle finding open equipment to use which is nice. The other members are very respectful which creates a comfortable atmosphere. Staff is always cordial and helpful which I appreciate.

Went here for over a decade and I ended up getting banned from all locations due to an incident in the sauna that I didn’t instigate. It’s the classic two sides of the story but I genuinely was passive the whole time until he tried to come at me. They ended up taking his side because of how upset he was and since he (probably in his late 30’s) had the cops called on me who is a kid in his early twenties who literally just used self defense. The owners of this location are the typical out of touch egotistical drones. Seems to be a general consensus that these two chumps are very condescending to other people. Well at least the lady is. Esposito is a little more down to earth but I don’t agree with the final decision to ban me from all locations when the whole situation is started over fragile egos. I’m able to look at it objectively even while it was happening and after. Even the cop I talked to agreed with me that it should’ve never escalated over me simply pouring a little water on the rocks to heat it up. It’s ridiculous. Maybe people are just on edge with what’s going on in the world which is understandable. I feel bad for the dude after it happened even though he’s the one who really escalated it. Maybe I should’ve asked but literally everyone else but him and one other dude had a problem. I’ve never had this issue before over the 100s of times I used it with other people…

They are thieves. I put in the request to freeze my membership because I live in Massachusetts for school. They blatantly ignored my request and kept charging me. When I called “nobody could help me because it was the weekend”. Just a poorly run gym that only cares about extracting money from its customers no matter what. The gym is too small and always crowded. Even some of the things they have in the gym are outdated.

I needed a gym while I visited my family in Clifton Park, NY for the 2023 Holiday season. I found Vent Fitness online, walked in and paid $35 for a 7 day Guest Pass. I was stoked at the price! (A day pass is $25 per day here). There is a large parking lot with ample spaces and the front desk staff was lovely and helpful. The gym has 2 floors. Upstairs is a huge assortment of cardio machines and a group fitness studio. I found it to be very hot during my rowing and step-machine workouts but it's winter in NY so it makes sense that the heat was on. The music was a bit too loud for me but I'm 40 so that checks out too lol.The first floor has tanning, lockers rooms, water fountains, massage chairs, weight machines and an enormous free-weight section. There's also a juice bar that looked delicious. The price was right and there was enough equipment for the larger crowds at the gym while I was there. The machines and bathrooms were clean too! I would recommend Vent Fitness and will be back when I'm on the East Coast again.

Decent gym, but is often extremely crowded no matter how you try to time your visit. Unless you want to be there nearly 2 hrs it can be hard to have the equipment you want to use free up. Please consider adding a feature to the vent app to show how many people have checked in in the past hour or so. The live analytics are often not accurate enough and having this instead would help a lot of people decide whether or not going at a certain time is worth it to them. It seems like not even half of the cardio equipment is used upstairs at any given time, it might be worth considering dedicating some of that space to some more machines for lifting. I bet more people than not would be in favor of these changes.

It’s really too bad, it’s a nice gym. Whoever the manager is, should not be allowed to deal with customers. Very condescending and unprofessional woman. We had cancelled online as we were instructed to do. It gave us an error and that it could not complete our request. So my husband had called and they had stated over the phone they would take care of it and cancel it. Less than a month later we get charged the membership fee and the $59 annual fee. We call and they cancelled the membership over the phone but said they could not refund because there was no record of us canceling online. I asked if they would have put notes on the account when we had the error online and called in. She said laughed and said no. So there is no trail of anything because we received an error online and when we called and explained this, we got condescending remarks about “allegedly calling” and if “we truly cancelled”. The problem which we made clear when we went to cancel it gave us an error message, so WE COULD NOT cancel. Because clearly it did not go through. There is obviously no record of this. So we are now out our membership monthly cost $24 and a $59 annual fee because we were told they would take care of it and we trusted that.Customer service is absolutely terrible. When we go to join a gym again in the area in a few months, it will not be Vent Fitness.
