*Mater P contacted us regarding my review. Thank you for that. She explained that you’re not charged for canceling, but you are required to pay for two months if not notified 60 days before the end of the contract. I will say that my children enjoyed their time there. The instructors are awesome. It just gets old when you’re getting overcharged and always having those conversations. I’m changing to a three star instead of one because their issue is not with the kids, but how they handle the business part of it.
Former military. Please stay away from Pai's Academy of Taekwondo. My son's have been attending classes there for about a year now. First, they will nickle and dime you to death. We were just charged $200 (they wanted to charge us $400) for not giving them a 60 day notice that we wouldn't be continuing with their program.
After our kids tested for their yellow belts, the instructors pulled everyone aside and lugged out bags of sparring equipment that were $220 per kid. They didn't ask or preface that. We didnt appreciate that at all. *Especially since we had one that was being pulled out shortly after.*
Our kids are into taekwondo, but there are other places around. We'll find a place that cares more about martial arts than money.

Great teachers but I'm disappointed in how they speak directly to the children every class and encourage them to tell their parents to sign them up for classes and misc events that are not free. It puts the parents in a very difficult position. Not all families can afford all the additional classes/competitions and we end up disappointing our children when we have to decline. They should use that last few minutes more productively and speak to the parents directly on upcoming events .

Have been attending adult classes at Pai’s TKD in Clifton Park now for a few months; - the instructors & staff are incredible, - the classes give a real good workout, - the other students are very welcoming, - everyone has a great energy of wanting to be there to work hard and conduct themselves respectfully.
Excited to see my fitness continue to improve & learn more of the Tae Kwon Do martial arts!

It was two years I was asking my daughter to take some martial art classes, but she wasn’t interested. When she took first class in Pai academy, she loved the classes. The team are professional and very friendly, polite and helpful.
