I walked in behind a woman for routine blood work. Another receptionist sat while the other receptionist spent 15 minutes signing in the other patient. I took a number when I walked in. After waiting 45 minutes they called a male patient waiting 10 minutes. I was told they had 3 people doing blood draw. What is the point of taking a number when your number is not called. I will not go back to this location.

The place looked dirty. The staff was nice. They felt bad about the situation.. however, I understand that it is Christmas Eve. They turned entire waiting room away because the doctor did not show up like he was supposed to at 7 AM. He would not be arriving hopefully by 9 AM.. that is unacceptable. People get sick they go to your facility for care and you can't get a doctor on staff on time to handle them people that is very unprofessional

I was distraught and went to the hospital to seek help. I was told i could stay until the morning . One male , white , short staff member with brown hair spoke to me as well as other staff members. He was the rudest and told me this wasn't a HOTEL it's a HOSPITAL . The police that brought me in told them i had suicidal thoughts . I left with no help . Thanks

I injured my back lifting a heavy table on October 11th. The pain was so bad that I couldn't sit stand or lay down. I went to the Ellis urgent care. Waited 1 1/2 hours to see a doctor who gave me a three minute examination wrote me a script for muscle relaxers and sent me on my way. Two days later I went to the OrthoNy urgent care. They sent me for an MRI where they found two herniated discs. Had surgery a week later and I'm recovering now. I just received a bill for 619. Where 100. Is my portion. Called the billing department they said they can't do anything about it and to call my insurance company to dispute it but if I don't pay it will go to collections. Stay away from this urgent care!

Ariana did a great job drawing my blood. I usually get sick and feel faint but she made 8 viles quick easy and painless.

I like my doctor and all the front staff. Sam is awesome. Every time i am in need and leave a message on the urgent nurse line NO ONE EVER gets back to me. The one time someone called me back she was extremely rude to me which was the last thing i needed at that moment. I was also laughed at and belittled by a nurse when telling her my symptoms. Last but most definitely not least answer phones also hang up on you when they don't want to simply listen to you.

Came in for an ear ache. After a short wait at the window I was taken back and evaluated. Left with scripts waiting for me. One went to the wrong pharmacy but that is an easy mistake to make.

I'm writing today about the blood draw station at Ellis, it was probably the easiest, fastest, least traumatic blood draw of my life. Nurses and techs have found that it's easier to draw blood from the side of my wrist or top of my hand, which was a game changer for me thanks to a nurse I had long ago, but Kerry at Ellis upped the game, she tied hot packs to my hands to plump my veins and calm my nerves. I told her I had to recline, and requested a butterfly, and she told me to pinch part of my ear as an acupuncture technique to reduce stress. Kerry was in and out on the first try, I hardly noticed. Blood draws using a butterfly tend to be much slower, but thanks to her expertise, it was like nothing, and fast, and she knew to chat me up to get my mind away from the needle, and asked me about my life. If you're like me and have anxiety about needles and blood draws, discuss it first, don't be shy, and ask for these techniques. Drink copious amounts of water that morning, and if your tech or nurse is impatient and you feel uncomfortable, get out and go elsewhere. Blood draws don't have to be a nightmare. Hope Kerry sees this review.
