My wife and I just completed building our dream home with Essex Homes of WNY! From start to finish, the team at Essex was buttoned up and detailed to the point where we always felt 2 steps ahead of what was coming next. This was our first time building and you hear about all the nightmare stories from people working with other builders, but Essex's attention to detail made for an unbelievably smooth process! I just finished building my second home with Essex in the past 10 years (not a single things wrong with the first, just a move). The whole process was wonderful from start to finish, and I can honestly say I never experienced any of that stress and frustration people always talk about when they mention home building. They are organized and efficient, and always on top of communication.
More than that though, they actually care about the people who are building with them. That took my skeptical self a minute to process the first time, but when I moved there wasn't a question of building with anyone else. They did not disappoint this time around either. Life threw me a few curve balls over the year we worked together, and I would not be settled in here today with my kiddos if not for the compassion and commitment they show. Literally the entire team I worked with, but also a shout out to Vinnie, for all the things he just didn't have to do to support me, but did without hesitation.

We built the Eastbrook with a loft in Crosscreek (Lancaster). This was the 4th home that we have built over the past 30+ years and our experience with Essex has been the best by far. What made them standout was their home selection variety, excellent responsiveness, knowledge, workmanship, and their entire team that we worked closely with; Robert our sales manager, Vinnie our construction process coordinator, and Rob our site construction supervisor. What a wonderful experience building with Essex Homes of WNY.Everyone from the salesman to the project coordinator to the build manager was patient, friendly, knowledgeable and trust worthy.We built our home in Buffalo while living in Canada. Delivery time was a big deal for us, as well as the fact we cannot go visit the construction as often as we wanted to. Essex made it easy and less stressful. Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly and we were kept up to date throughout the process. We were also informed of upcoming steps ahead of time. We felt that they cared about us and our home, they respected our timeline and they proactively gave us ideas, pointers and raised concerns on our selections so we can make the best choice given that this was our first time building a whole house from scratch. Everyone was very knowledgeable of their field so we were able to get responses to our questions in a very timely manner. The most important was the house was delivered on time in a great condition, which is absolutely amazing.A special thanks to Scott, Vinnie and Mike, you guys are fantastic.
