Overall they did a good job. However Mike is very unprofessional, rude and doesn’t do a good job explaining things. He was disrespectful to both the guy doing the excavation and the electrician both of them said they will never do business with them again. They had to ask to be paid. When asked where to dig he said wherever you want you can do it on the roof if you want very disrespectful and will never recommend or use them again.

I had a combi boiler installed by this company January 2019. I had a service call one year later from a solder joint that the company had said was the condensate pump. It was a misdiagnosis. I called another company to fix the same leak as well as repair another leak that had developed from the exhaust piping. It was brought to my attention several code violations and installation errors as well as parts such as my expansion tank that were never changed during the boiler install. Parts which are typically always replaced on every new boiler installation. They also found the intake piping was not glued together. Poor installation. I paid $7999 for this system.Service: Heating system installation

One of the best companies we had work with, we asked for an estimate to replace our oil furnace with gas furnace. the representative arrived on time he review our house ask few question and explain in detail about our option, quality wise and prices we went eventually with his recommendation after we compared with 5 other from the biggest companies in great Rochester area. We were extremely happy with the professional neat work, with the human relationship and responsive. we called back to install Tankless water heater and received so extremely positive experience with contractors and companies. We usually don't write a review unless its very bad or exceptional great, this one was amazing in all aspects. Thank you ECO Heating and Cooling INC for the great work

I love this company! Our AC died over the summer and they came, assessed the situation and had if fixed in a couple of days. Fast forward to today - our heater stopped working. I called at 8 am - they were here at 2 and had it fixed by 3. Super nice and very fair. I highly recommend them.

Mike, Renee, Rob, Julien, Petro and the crew at ECO recently installed a new LAARS wall-hung unit in my house. They could not have been nicer or more responsive in doing so... including lending us space heaters over a very cold weekend. Thank you, and a big thumb's up to Eco Heating and Cooling, a contractor who does what they say they will do, on time and on budget :-)

Horrible experience. Technician was unprofessional, did not wear shoe covers and tracked mud all over the house. He took all the copper when asked to leave it. We had an issue a year later was told it was unrelated after a conversation with the owner who got heated because apparently a customer who has concerns and wants to discuss them shouldnt call him at 835 on a Monday morning. If properly handled, it could have been profit in his pocket however he decided to play blame the customer. Unbelievable. Professionalism, kindness and understanding goes a long way. Accountability and appropriate actions are a part of a companies integrity as well. I was far from impressed.

Good quality work and professionalism. Other review seems to complain and be based around an issue with the reviewers insurance company.

First, I’d like to say this is not directed at the tech Rob, nice guy. Also, to those of you reading this I hope you don’t think I’m ranting angrily. I hope this is an objective representation of the dreadful experience I had with Mike, the owner of this firm. I don’t review things generally, but the unprofessionalism of the owner necessitated such a forum. This vendor was assigned to me through a home warranty company (separate issue), I did not choose them. First, they gave me a service window of 9-12 and I had to call him at 11:59am indicating that no one had arrived. The owner replied “oh, I don’t even have you in my books. My secretary is on vacation.” Right. Then the tech arrives and I pay the required copay. This is when things devolve. He diagnosed one of the issues and then found the root cause. Proceeded to call the warranty company and they had him waiting for a while. Then when I see the tech walking to my house again he tells me that I need to call the warranty company. “What?” I replied, as I don’t even know what to tell them. Mike, he says, suggested it. I suggest we call mike. When we call mike he (mike) proceeded to explain to me that it’s on me to call them and that he has had a tech out for several hours now that he’s paying for (the copay in any insurance typically covers such fixed expenditures associated with the cost of the project) him to be on the phone and that I should call them; I’m their customer after all. Wildly patronizing, I reply to mike that I find It’s strange that you don’t mind that I was tied up waiting for you to arrive between the hours of nine and noon, yet, it bothers you greatly when you have your tech tied up. Ironic no? I mention that we are done here and that I’ll be reviewing him online (hence this allegory if a review). He then proceeds to hang up.God speed if you choose this firm, indeed you’ll need it to communicate with the likes of mike.
