I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Maki for the past five years - ever since I discovered her. I live in NYC and her work is better than anyone I've been to in the city. She really gets my hair - her "dry cut technique" is very cool - and equally cool is her sense of color. I enthusiastically give her five stars!

Maki gives great haircuts. We all know the endless search for a good haircut, and my search ended when I went to Maki for the first time. She cuts hair like an artist and the results are museum worthy. I'm so happy to have found a stylist of this caliber up here in "the country." Plus one gets to spend some time with Maki's cute toy poodle, Mikey, the mountain-climbing dog, to keep things lively. Maki Yuinada is a real find.

I had been having my full head of hair dutifully scrubbed and scissored in Manhattan for a decade or so before I went to Maki in Phoenicia on the recommendation of someone I met by chance at Christmas party. After Maki. I now look glowingly in the mirror, receive compliments from my wife, friends, and sons on my new sleek looks, and don't dread going in for a cut. Maki makes the experience stress-free. A dry cut, letting the hair fall naturally, with an invigorating wash at the end. It can't be beat. I recommend her highly to one and all.
