My barber was nice and friendly but I would not be coming back. They asked me to sit on a chair straight after previous customer, without cleaning it and did exactly the same with the next customer, straight after me. I sat there only for about 5 minutes and the hair cut was done. I would like much more attention to detail as now I can see that it is not the same on each side of my head. They are only open few days a week, I believe they are targeting they regulars, mainly elderly generation. And the Polish Eagle outside is just marketing, they do not speak Polish...

This is a real old school barbershop, one of a dying breed unfortunately. it's a place where you feel at home coming in. There's plenty of conversations, when you come in the outside world stays out. It's not trendy, there not a wall of products to buy. But you go here and the barbers are friendly, they're skilled and do a great job. They're only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

First off let me say that I don't like putting my hair in the hands of anyone other than my barber of 4+ years. However, I was in Cheektowaga for an extended business stay and needed a trim badly. If I hadn't been told by a coworker the place was here I would have missed it completely, as the outside is very unassuming and just looks like a house from the road. Was immediately welcomed by one of the two barbers working when I came in the door. Place was very clean, had plenty of seating, and a coat rack in the corner. The walls are also covered with a ton of cool stuff (taxidermy, antique firearms, curios) that sort of reminded me of a TGIFridays, only not tacky. There were two gentleman in front of me but I didn't wait more than 10 min before Larry called me up to the chair. I got exactly the cut I needed and great conversation to boot. Larry gave me the 50 year history of the place and some quality recommendations for local restaurants as well. Cut was only $15 but for the atmosphere and experience I just put a $20 in Larry's hand. Overall one of the best out-of-town barber experiences I've had, might pop in again before I leave just to look around some more.
