I just had Benny come by to fix a plumbing issue in my home. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, he was so kind and friendly and walked me through everything so I could understand the issue with my boiler. I will be using them again and will recommend them every time

Big City Plumbing bailed us out twice. The first time Benny and Gavin came over to fix our heating system in the middle of a cold spell. They diagnosed the problem, which was basically that the pipes were too narrow and needed more throughput. They replaced the pipes with wider ones. They recalibrated the machine. They got the work done quickly and efficiently while explaining clearly what the problem and solution were.

The second time Benny came over after our pipes froze and we weren't getting any water into the system. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it and made sure all zones got heat. The pipes were unfrozen but water wasn't flowing through the system. We had been without heat for over a week. Big mistake on our part for not calling them sooner.

The professionalism and honesty of the technicians and staff at Big City Plumbing are the best I've encountered. I highly recommend them for anyone who has heating problems.

These days a good plumber is hard to find. These guys are good plumbers who know their stuff. I found them because they are Navien repair specialists, look up how few there are on Long Island. What’s even better is Mike (the owner) will personally give you a call back, that’s a rare find these days.

Mike from Big City Plumbing was a great help to my property management company today by walking us through a part replacement on a Navien tankless unit which we performed ourselves only because Mike’s crew were unable to get to our emergency.

I reached out to Big City Plumbing for an urgent repair on my Navien Combi unit, which had stopped supplying heat. To my relief, they were able to send over a plumber without any delay. Benny arrived and wasted no time in getting to the root of the problem. BIG CITY IS THE BEST. My building has been dealing with gas & heating issues for LITERAL years. When we finally sorted one step of the process, we learned about tons of issues across a number of boilers in the building. Big City came out and provided a clear diagnostic and estimate for each of the affected units. I was nervous about this being able to be fixed because of all the issues we'd been having but they were so kind and reassuring the whole way, which really made me feel like a solve was possible. And sure enough they did it! And my unit (and others in the building) are back up and running. They were so diligent and helpful getting everything restored, and were also such nice, wonderful, pleasant people. Thank you so much for all your kindness and help!!! If you have a complicated yet phenomenal system like a Navien, this is the company to choose. Mike the owner is a kind and very understanding person. Everything is super transparent, very fair pricing, and to top it off very competent in what they do. Have issues in Manhattan? I was looking to hire this. Company, I spoke to Diana on the phone, wanted to get specifics, was told the owner takes care of that, I asked for a call back from the owner and was refused.EditWant to ad I was very courteous on the phone, the discourteous behavior was directed towards myself the customer. If someone asks to speak to the owner, a call back should have been given. You lost out on a lot of work in the future from myself and my referrals. Owner tries to misrepresent situation in reply and act like I was in the wrong wanting to communicate with him on some simple things before I hire them. Want to add I spoke to about 5 companies in total before hiring one and this one was the worst I had interacted with.

I was informed that the owner typically handles such inquiries. Subsequently, upon requesting a call back from the owner, my request was declined. I wish to emphasize that my conduct during the interaction remained courteous, while the discourteous behavior was directed towards me as the customer. It is my belief that when a customer expresses a desire to communicate with the owner, a prompt call back should be facilitated. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to reconsider any potential future engagements with this company, thereby impacting potential referrals as well. Furthermore, I find the owner's response to be a misrepresentation of the situation, as I simply sought clarification on some basic matters prior to finalizing any hiring decisions.

I recently moved into a new home in Long Island that had a Navien combo installed. I reached out to many plumbers. Big City was the only one that was responsive and I was able to deal with the owner from day 1. He was very informative and helpful. They were able to schedule me pretty quick to do annual service on the boiler. I was satisfied and will use again.Thank you
