“If I could give more stars, I would. Jimmy and Christina and crew have completed three major projects for me since 2024 ( 2 sliding doors, and a complete kitchen renovation). Each project has run smoothly and completed on time. From the start of each project, Jimmy and Christina are responsive, answering any questions. The timeline of work is always communicated, including any last minute changes. All the workers/staff show up when they said they would. For the most recent slider, Nick even finished the last of the work ahead of what was anticipated. The work itself is of the highest quality, and they are adept at addressing challenges that come with older homes. Everyone is respectful and took care with my home and personal items, like it was their own home. After completion of every job, the work has been cleaned up to the point that you would not know anyone had been there ( I am sure my floors were actually cleaner after, than before the work started).
Specifically, as to the kitchen renovation, Christina walked me through every step, including the design, which is fantastic. Not to mention Dan, who assisted in the execution, dealing with tight spaces to say the least. If you hire Agate Builders, you know the job will be done right, on time and within your budget. “This review is long overdue. I believe this business is under new ownership but last fall, Paul (the new owner) replaced our old skylight with a Velux solar powered window and his work by far exceeded our expectations. He is a perfectionist.The previous installation was uneven/crooked and Paul took the time to correct this and was able to make it look pretty much perfect! 10/10 recommend!“
