Great experience shopping at Spike's! We were just passing through town, and I'm glad we made a stop here. We had fun browsing through the record selection and chatting with Spike.

My go to record store in the Catskills. A huge collection of vintage vinyl plus new records too. Also a big selection of 45s and tapes also. Spike is great and very knowledgable! If you are in the area you have to go.

Though many records I felt were priced a little high, this is the best Hudson Valley record shop I've been to in a while, aside from the one in Hudson. Spike's was super clean, with ultra friendly owner (Spike) and extremely well organized. Also, Spike's collection is full of records I've never seen before in any record store and I've been to a lot of record stores around the world. Jazz guitar nerds, check out the current massive selection particularly on Pat Metheny, George Benson and Pat Martino and I was impressed how many Willis Jackson and Groove Holmes records they had too.
