I've even met people there from 4 and 5 hours away if you happen to need a safe, clean and wonderful environment for your dog this is absolutely the place. This place also has the ability to take dogs who are not good with other people or animals. Just super important to be absolutely honest about how your pet is so the owners know how to appropriately deal with it. There is no place else I trust with my four-legged children“

They do a great job of following all the instructions we leave, she’s a doodle, so her stomach‘s very sensitive and she never has any issues when I get her back. One thing I noticed too, when I take my dog to wiggles, she always comes back smelling great. Other places that I have her for daycare sometimes she comes back smelling not so good or very dirty. They do a great job!!“

66 Woods End Rd, Putnam Valley“The incredible staff and the love and attention they give to our two dogs make “The Dog” a true home away from home for them. Anytime our dogs see anyone from the team — whether it’s at our house for pick-up or when we arrive at the facility — they go crazy with excitement,.
It’s clear the team genuinely cares — not just about providing a service, but about building real relationships with the dogs and their families. Whether it’s training or boarding, we have total peace of mind knowing our pups are safe and engaged.
The progress we’ve seen through their training has been remarkable, and when they board, they come home happy, calm, and clearly well-loved. It’s rare to find a place that combines professionalism, expertise, and real heart the way they do.
We cannot recommend them highly enough for anyone looking for exceptional training and boarding.“

They fit me into their schedule and diagnosed my dog within hours. The staff was very kind and I have a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I could tell right away she was in good hands. Highly recommend to bring your fur babies here and will be recommending to my family here in the area.“
9AM - 5PM
15 Anderson Ln, Goldens Bridge“My previous vet in Cross River put my pet through unnecessary exams and inconvenienced us with irregular hours. Despite their posted schedule, I arrived on three separate occasions only to find the clinic closed and locked. Moreover, they showed disrespect towards my easygoing, elderly father. But since discovering Goldens Bridge Veterinary Care Center (GBVCC), those issues are now history. In stark contrast, Dr. Immerblum and his team at GBVCC prioritize animal well-being and are mindful of costs. They went above and beyond to obtain my dog's records from previous providers and ensured our comfort throughout the transition. During our initial visit, Dr. Immerblum dedicated more than an hour to getting to know my dog and answering my questions. Unlike my previous experience, GBVCC is reliably open during regular business hours, with staff available until midnight and even later for emergencies. The difference is remarkable. Their recommendation from a neighbor was spot-on, and I'm incredibly grateful for it. I can't express enough how wonderful they've been.“

“Megan at Instinct Hudson Valley is truly the best. We hired her for a one-week puppy camp for our small doxiepoo puppy, Winnie, that was so effective and rewarding, we sent Winnie back for a two-week camp soon after. We loved how Winnie was able to become part of Megan’s family during her stay, while also getting consistent, immersive training.
Megan has a great approach to helping puppies develop natural impulse control and good habits using positive reinforcement only. It felt really reassuring to know we wouldn’t have to rely on commands all the time, because our puppy was learning to make better choices on her own. Megan is not only an incredibly knowledgeable trainer, but she also has two calm, well-trained dogs that Winnie could socialize with and learn from. Her kids were also so sweet with Winnie, and it was a bonus to give her early exposure to children.
After both stays, Winnie came home with major, noticeable progress. She’s naturally a very dependent and anxious puppy, and because we didn’t socialize her enough during the winter, we were struggling with early signs of separation anxiety and leash reactivity. Megan helped her build independence, emotional regulation, and confidence. On top of that, she came back with a toolkit of obedience skills, impulse control, much better leash behavior, and the ability to settle herself in situations that used to overwhelm her.
Even more importantly, Winnie came back happy and confident, and she clearly enjoyed the experience. Megan kept us updated throughout with photos, videos, and notes on her progress, and she continued to check in and provide guidance after we brought Winnie home. She really cares, and it shows.
We started out feeling overwhelmed with raising a puppy, but Megan’s support and training gave us the tools and peace of mind we needed to truly enjoy life with our puppy. We’re so grateful for Megan and would do it again in a heartbeat.“
