Megan at Instinct Hudson Valley is truly the best. We hired her for a one-week puppy camp for our small doxiepoo puppy, Winnie, that was so effective and rewarding, we sent Winnie back for a two-week camp soon after. We loved how Winnie was able to become part of Megan’s family during her stay, while also getting consistent, immersive training.
Megan has a great approach to helping puppies develop natural impulse control and good habits using positive reinforcement only. I highly recommend Sophia Rosenbloom with Instinct Dog Training for anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate dog trainer. I can't express how grateful I am for her expertise and dedication. Sophia has a very calm, confident presence and she took the time to understand my dog's unique personality and the need to help build her confidence.
The training sessions are well-structured and engaging, incorporating positive techniques, games and basic commands that emphasize building a strong bond between me and my pet, making the learning process enjoyable for both of us.

We have boarded our pup, who is anxious and reactive, at Instinct Hudson Valley several times. Each time, they provide a quiet and calm environment that keeps our dog safe, happy and healthy. Megan and the whole team are great with her, showering her with love and enrichment. She always has a smile on her silly dog face in the pictures they post. She loves going to Instinct and we love knowing how comfortable she is there. We have also participated in alumni camp with trainer Sophia, which was a great experience for our girl.
