I just went through the most stressful three days in my life. My little fur baby (Gizmo) had to have surgery. he had a blockage in his intestines, and I originally went to another emergency vet in Farmingdale, which I was not happy with them at all!!! . I was very upset and trying to make a decision and they had no compassion at all so I took him out of that location and went to VEG in Carle Place . From the moment I walked through the door and sat down. I knew I made the right decision. This is a 24 hour care facility, and the staff is just amazing.!!!! Such a great team from the staff to the Dr's. Highly recommended. So kind and attentive. My dashound was suffering from spine pain. They gave her a shot for the pain and we were given some meds to take home. Next day was so much better. 4 days later she's back to normal. Ty to this amazing team!

Best animal emergency care in NEW YORK! Today I found a stray cat hit by a car. I called them, and they didn't hesitate or ask any unnecessary questions—they just asked how soon I could get there and said they'd prep for emergency surgery immediately! I had called so many places before them, but they were the only ones who stepped up to help. I wish all the staff safety and happiness every single day!
