She’s very attentive and always asks your preference—whether you want your braids tight or loose, big or small—so you get exactly what you’re looking for. I personally like my braids tight, and she delivered without making them uncomfortable or overly painful.
I also loved that she was willing to add accessories to my braids at no extra charge, which was a nice touch. She pays attention to detail, trims any extra frizz, and even asks if you want the ends burned for a cleaner finish.

Matted curly hair, I was ready to accept the big chop and start over. “The staff at this salon is amazing. I get my haircut done by Amanda and she completely respects us long haired girls that want to keep our length. She has a great touch because my hair has been growing quickly. I have come back numerous times to this salon because I always leave very happy and cared for. The most recent time I’ve gone to this salon I went in to get a color correction for highlights that I had gotten done previously at a completely different salon and not only did they save my hair from the botched job that I had, but they completely exceeded my expectations and made my hair look beautiful again. I cannot thank Amanda and all of the staff enough for how my hair turned out. This salon has the most welcoming staff and they’re all so lovely. I’ve only done my haircuts and color with Amanda but I’ve seen firsthand how amazing all of the hairstylists are at what they do! They all do phenomenal work!
