Vito's is a classic barbershop. This one man show is a true gem. Best hair cut I have had in 3 years. I'm excited to get my hair cut because I know it will always look good. Expect a line in this tiny shop, so sit down and get comfy. Cash Only!! I get a fantastic hair cut, leave a tip and I'm out the door for 20 bucks. Could not be happier I found this place. Thanks for being a true professional at your craft Vito... See you every 3 weeks!
-15 dollars for an excellent cut -Vito is friendly, talks if you want to but quiet otherwise -Mellow and old-school shop -Expect a potential wait for walk-ins; there is just one chair and one barber, Mr. Vito himself. During my visit I luckily got in just ahead of a line of five folks. Everyone in the line knew it's well worth the wait; just fair warning if you're in a rush it might not happen quickly.
Haven't been to see Vito since I first moved to Buffalo nine years ago, basically because the walk-in schedule is always unpredictable and I hate waiting for anything aside from a great meal or paycheck. After Rust Belt Barbering let me sit waiting 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment, I was able to bail and squeeze in at Vito's quickly before a trip out of town. My hair wasn't in dire need, but it was going to be a while until I could see my regular barber and I wanted to trim it up. Vito got me in and out in 15 minutes. Cut was good, nothing too difficult, and Vito is friendly. He's certainly not a conversationalist, but it didn't feel awkward, either. I prefer having the hot neck lather shave, which Vito doesn't do, but my guy will get me next time. I'd certainly return to Vito, especially when there's no one waiting. Only $15 for a mens cut, but unfortunately, kids are the same price. $15 for a boys cut is a bit much, IMO.
