I've been coming here for several years now, and they always accommodate me as a walk-in. Sometimes i have to wait a bit, but never an unreasonable amount of time, esp since I don't make appointments. I used to get gel manicures and they were consistently good, but for about a year now I've been getting the Dazzle Dry system that they offer and I love it. In my opinion it lasts almost as well as (and sometimes better than) gel - which I sometimes have an issue with peeling (regardless of who does it) AND it doesn't require the UV lights or soaking off. So happy they introduced me to it and will continue to come here for it.
I came in today for a gel manicure and shortly after I arrived a couple came in for a pedicure. They sat down and abruptly left because of “bad reviews online.” I was surprised! Listen, I read reviews as much as the next person, but in this instance I think Safety First gets a bad rep. I have always had a good experience here. Most of the bad reviews are about price and honestly … they are so upfront about pricing and you can always ask ahead of time the cost of something. They are honest, clean, and they do great work. I have been a loyal customer and will keep coming back. Don’t trust everything y put read online!! Give Safety First a try.
It's not the most upscale experience, but they do an excellent gel manicure that lasts and does not chip! Also you don't have to book a month in advance to get an appointment. They accept walk ins - which is a god send if you work a normal 9-5.
This is my go-to spot now!
