The owner is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to fit clients in. The shop offers traditional and modern services, including hot towel shaves and straight-edge razor neck shaves. Kids enjoy the gentle manner and fun barber car, making haircuts stress-free, especially for children with autism or sensory issues. Women are also welcome and charged the same as men. Customers appreciate the friendly atmosphere, quality service, and the craftsmanship that makes every visit special.
Went there for a hot shave with my future father in law right before my wedding. It was a really great experience. Very competent and friendly. I highly recommend this place. The barber is not only knowledgeable and talented, but extremely friendly.
I love this place! Phil's Barber Shop is a real old school barber shop where the barber is a craftsman who knows his customers and what they want. This is not an "assembly line shop", each haircut is a personal experience to the customer. The owner, Mark, is excellent at his craft and interesting to talk with.
Mark is the quintessential Barber that can easily transpose professions as a bartender with his Aussie humor and life lessons. Drive by his storefront to get a daily dose of his whimsical sidewalk signs that would have you laugh out loud. Guy walks into a barber shop.. ..and says “Chuck Wood here?” Barber says “no we cut hair.”
