My experience with Dave was nothing like two recent reviews, posted following his buy of United Decorators (UD) from Paul, whose excellent reputation speaks for itself.
My mom used UD many times years ago, most likely when Paul was there, so I turned to UD for my own reupholstering needs. In this case, for a tired old loveseat needing some tender loving care.
Choosing the fabric took the longest time, as some were from European sources slow to reply to inquiries about availability and cost.
Dave also rehabilitated the wood frame and applied a new coat of polish making the result a fine example of upholstery craftsmanship.

Great experience. Very professional. This is exactly what we should expect from all businesses. This place nailed it. My chair had a lot of nooks and crannies and I wondered how they’d be able to handle it. They did an amazing job. Dave - you do great work. Thank you. Hope to see you again for another project.
I'm very pleased with the work United Decorators did on our 7 dining chairs, wing chair, and ottoman. They graciously came to our house and gave a quote. They also picked up and dropped off the furniture. Communication was easy. They did excellent work.
