Dioverlyn at The East Cut & Styles in Brooklyn gave me honestly the best haircut I can remember having in my entire life. This wasn’t just a haircut — it was a masterpiece.
He is truly an artist with the clippers, and my head was his canvas. What impressed me even more is the level of skill, precision, and understanding he showed with my hair texture. I’m African, and he is Latino, and in my 45 years I have rarely come across someone outside of my own hair background who could cut my hair this well. That speaks volumes about his talent.

The atmosphere at this barbershop is clean, professional, and welcoming. The barbers actually take their time and pay attention to detail, no rushed cuts here! My barber listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure everything was on point. You can tell they take pride in their work. The shop has a great vibe whether you’re a regular or it’s your first visit. Definitely will be coming back!
I just moved to the area and I need a local barber that I could trust to cut my hair with patients and care. My spirit lead me to THE EAST CUTS AND STYLE BARBERSHOP 💈. When I walked in the energy in the room was pleasant and welcoming . I was immediately comfortable with shop and the barber. His name is Archie, very pleasant with an undeniable smile. I didn’t have to say much about the style I wanted. I showed him a picture and he executed the cut to the max. I definitely found my barbershop home.
