I've shopped here for years and decided it was time to write the review I've think I should whenever I'm in this store.
They have everything. Whenever you hit a recipe with some specialty ingredient you think you can't find, they have it. Not like 6 different brands of it, but they have it. Always.
Is it a little more expensive than a supermarket? Sure. But they have everything, and if they disappear, I'll be heartbroken.
So, please shop here. They're really friendly and helpful, too. And they'll have what you need. Every damn time.
My happy place! The Bad Wife is so peaceful and well-run. I don’t do all my shopping here because (as others have already said) some items can be pricey - but it is great for produce, plants, kimchi, and ambiance :)
Super sweet and helpful staff, fresh produce, beautiful flowers, and a great curation of dry goods and staples. Their gyoza is especially good! It's a touch more expensive than Union Market, but the experience shopping here is substantially better.
