Smart General Contracting completed an 8 flag concrete sidewalk replacement in front of our home in Park Slope, Brooklyn. This was required for home insurance renewal. Permits from NYC are required and the contractor must be licensed by NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP). Smart General, as I verified on the DCWP website, is in fact fully licensed. Further, they obtained the permit from NYC Dept. of Transportation within 72 hours! I had a very good experience with Smart Contracting. Ahmad is the boss and he is amazing. He listened and addressed my concerns. He was always available and responded to all my calls and texts. The brick work and siding work by this crew was excellent. It was done very fast. They thoroughly cleaned up including the debris that spilled over to my neighbors' area. No attitudes, no tricks and no excuses unlike other contractors I have used in the past. I will definitely use them again.
Recently had to have my outdoor front steps done, some contractors were asking a crazy amount and did not really leave me comfortable. I reached out to Smart General Contracting and they came gave a great estimate and allowed me to add things on that also needed to be addressed. They are a great company and will help you and give good ideas on how it should be done. All was completed and I’m so happy with how my house looks and the steps are much safer now. Thank you and I will be using them again if ever needed.
