I’ve been going to chinami for over 20 years!!! I followed her from her time at a different salon in Manhattan and once she opened her own salon in Brooklyn, I travel further to see her. Well worth it!!!! My daughter now goes to her too. She not only delivers the haircut you want, she advises if maybe it cannot be achieved due to hair texture. Bring a picture. That’ll help the process. She is also an amazing colorist. I had her help me with my wedding hairstyle too. Total trust. Highly recommend her and her team!!!
I had been looking for a salon in Brooklyn with Asian hair expertise since I previously went to stylists in Manhattan. I’m so glad to have tried Sen and will be returning. Rumi was incredibly attentive to understanding the specific style I wanted. She took time to ask thoughtful questions while also offering her insights. As you would expect from peeking in from the street, the experience inside is serene and lovely. I love my cut in addition to the wonderful scalp massage and products used throughout. So thrilled to have a stylist nearby!
Chinami has been my stylist for over 10years. I moved west, but will always come back because she is simply the best. She has an incredible eye for what will be flattering on someone. And she is also an incredibly kind human being.
