Meg-san has been my hairstylist for years now, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Not only is she the only person I trust with my hair, but she is also the loveliest, kindest human being. Of all the hair salons I’ve gone to in New York, Salon87 is the very best. Everyone is so talented and the vibe is always welcoming and relaxing. You won’t regret it!

Kazuma is a total gem! I’ve gotten consistently great haircuts from him at Salon87 — he’s precise, thoughtful, and really listens to what you want while still offering expert guidance. Every cut grows out beautifully, which is the sign of someone who knows what they’re doing. Plus, his calm, professional vibe makes the whole experience feel elevated. Highly recommend booking with Kazuma if you’re looking for a go-to stylist in Brooklyn.

Every time I come here for a haircut by Tsuyoshi I walk out feeling happy and refreshed. Before I started coming to Salon 87 I usually had at least a little anxiety about getting my hair cut, it always felt like a hit or miss experience. I got my hair cut by Tsuyoshi one time about 9 years ago and haven’t looked back since. That means I haven’t had anxiety about getting my hair cut in almost a decade.
