I can’t recommend John and his company enough. He and his team are from the neighborhood and so are very familiar with how these old brownstones were built and the problems that can occur. He is reliable, honest, and fair. And if you want to know how life was in the old neighborhood , ask him! Growing up there BEFORE the 1980s was a rare, one-of-a-kind experience I would never trade for anything thanks to people like John and his family! I highly recommend his company.

I normally wouldn’t respond, but I feel it’s important to clarify a few things. John services my building, and I am Pakistani. I have never experienced or witnessed racist behavior from him, nor does it reflect who he is or how he runs his business.
Accusations of racism are serious and should not be made lightly. While I understand that conversations can sometimes be perceived differently, this claim does not align with my personal experience. I’m sorry this interaction left you feeling upset, but I strongly disagree with the characterization being made here.

Our boiler broke unexpectedly and we were left with no heat. He came out immediately, which we appreciated so much, especially in such a stressful situation. He was incredibly respectful, professional, and explained everything clearly. He installed a brand new boiler quickly and efficiently.

His staff were also wonderful, very friendly, thorough, and careful while working in our home. The whole experience was smooth from start to finish.

I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone in need of reliable, honest, and high-quality service!
