I've been seeing Markee for years now and realized I've never left a review - obviously I love it here. The entire place and staff are so comfortable, welcoming, and good at their jobs.
I originally came in after a couple years of bad luck with hairstylists and COVID, hoping that this was going to finally be the right fit. It was! Markee immediately picked up what I wanted, checked with me to make sure she understood the vision, and just did everything to a T. In further visits I learned she's 1) able to perfectly execute what you give her unless 2) it's unreasonable, at which point she'll tell you all the complications and what she CAN do. Megan is a true magician when it comes to cutting and styling curly hair. I got my hair cut a few years ago by her and she treated my locks with such care and patience. As she was cutting my first shag haircut. She was constantly checking in about what I wanted—how short I felt comfortable going with the layers, how to style my bangs, how much volume I wanted at the crown etc. She really puts time into sculpting the haircut. I walked out of the salon feeling amazing! And to top it all she’s a great conversationalist. I only wish that the prices were more affordable or maybe there were sliding scale options to make the salon more accessible.
