Bro.Nicko is a charming young man! His wondrous works is totally awesome! He turned me into a butterfly! I’ve had haircuts before, but. his way of cutting is like a styling. He thought i wanted a perm or whatever ladies need for their locks. I told him to cut it all off, but, he did better than that. He gave the shortest cut with such a look of beauty, grace and style! I looked 10 years younger! And, he agreed, lol! I was visiting from another state and never had the same type of experience! That was 4years ago and I have to make a special trip to come back!

When I moved to Brooklyn I did a lot of google searches about where to get the best haircut. Over the course of a year, I went all over Manhattan trying out different (sometimes expensive) salons and barbers that were recommended, and never went back a second time to any of them. About 6 months ago I was going out of town and needed a haircut, so I chose Prospect Cut and Shave since it was near my house.

Irina was great, taking time to find out what I wanted. She always takes her time and makes me feel like I am her only customer, never just rushing me off because of another appointment.

The best haircut I've had in years! Nicko takes his time with his craft and is very gentle with the tools. I did not leave his chair with any cuts from razors. He uses a straight razor, clippers, scissors, etc. you can show him a photo of a cut and he will execute. Definitely worth the wait and price!
