Nicky is a magician! Her whole personality is welcoming and caring. Great conversations. She has great knowledge of hair and what she’s doing and she’s very informative. Her prices are reasonable. The salon is always clean and the ambience is everything!

This place is definitely a hidden gem. I found this place by accident and I'm so glad I did. Nikki is the owner and she is just awesome and very knowledgeable about hair, including all hair types. I just wish I would of found her when I was natural. If so I definitely wouldn't put a perm back in my hair. Nikki is so down to earth, especially when it comes to hair. She gives you her honesty and feedback. She access the hair and go forward from there. Her shop is cute and very clean. One thing I notice that she does is after a customer sit down and switch chairs she always spray and wipes them down even if it's just for 2 sec switch. She use the best products, you don't have to worry about some unknown product in a different container going in your hair. She lets you know of everything she is going to do before she does it and explain the ingredients and what it's used for and what it will do to your hair. Her prices are reasonable and If you have any questions or concerns about your hair she will answer them even if you call her by phone or via text. Since I found Nikki, My hair is always on point whenever I leave her salon and it healthy and stronger all because of her hair care. I will never let anyone else touch my hair again. Her hours are operation are flexible

Hooray! Something awesome in the neighborhood! A nice salon with wonderful and professional staff. I was trolling the neighborhood in search of a budget friendly Dominican hair salon all of which seemed to be closed on this Tuesday. I was just about to head home and give up when I stumbled up My Sanctuary. I walked in and the ladies were welcoming and warm. Nikki told me to come back around 6 as she had lots of clients, which I appreciated instead of being made to wait endlessly. I came back at 6 and there was a little bit of a wait but that was okay since it was such a pleasant environment. Also it was the day before the first day of school so there were lots of young ladies getting primped for there first day. Nikki styled my hair and wa happy to answer my millions of questions. I was thrilled with the service and will definitely be making this my local go to spot. They also have (appointment only) spa services which is nice to have near by. I hope the sanctuary is here to stay!
