We just moved our apartment from Park Slope to Murray Hill and it was a complicated business, since I have a huge library. Matt offered a good price and Jet handled some post-move complications fairly. And since they use plastic bins rather than boxes, clean up afterward was easy. My only criticism, which echos one below, is that the packing team worked so fast it was hard to keep up with them, which meant that the labeling of bins was not very specific. Nothing was broken but sorting it all out took much longer than it should have. was in the unfortunate situation of having to move twice in 6 months, and i booked movers not shakers for both moves. they make booking easy and are so efficient on move day! across both moves there was 1 minor scratch on one piece of furniture, 0 things were broken and their teams are just excellent. can't recommend them enough.

Movers not Shakers is the best moving company I’ve ever worked with in NYC. They are prompt, organized, and treat your belongings as if they were their own. I won’t use anyone else in the Big Apple.
