Monteman provides a boutique service that feels more like a hair salon than barbershop (in a good way).Excited already to come back for my next one.

I’ve lived in NYC for 6 years and that was the best haircut experience I’ve ever had. I didn’t know anyone who knew more about my hair than my mom. Evan’s consultation was thorough and he talked me through every decision he made for my hair. I’m coming back for life. Be prepared to sip on espresso and have the best time. Cheers! X

This review is for the straight edge razor shave. I did not get a haircut.I have been shaved all over the world, and I use a straight razor at home. I think this was the best straight razor shave of my life! What I asked Andres to do was not particularly easy, and he pulled it off perfectly. He is also a very attentive and nice guy. No razor burn, perfect results, and glowing skin. Highly recommended.
