MaXximized Hair Studio is a natural hair salon focused on helping clients achieve their hair goals with integrity. Maxx is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about hair. She explains what she is doing and why, helping clients understand their hair better. The experience is therapeutic, intentional, and gentle—nothing rushed. Clients leave feeling confident, not just in their hair, but in themselves. Sessions include washing, scalp treatments, neat protective styles, and trims with scissors. Maxx is great with scissors and always tries to cut the least amount needed. She educates clients on treatments, proper care, and the best products to use at home. Her genuine, professional, kind, warm, and loving demeanor makes the entire experience comfortable and stress-free. She is all about the health of beautiful strands and educating clients on how to give them TLC. Outside of her chair, clients learn how to retain hair length and keep hair healthy. Maxx understands that stylist and client are a team when tending to the strands. Her integrity and work ethic speak for themselves. She is not just looking to make a quick buck. An appointment is worth every penny. For anyone looking for a stylist who cares, educates, takes their time, and truly wants clients to love their natural hair, this is the place.
I’ve been going to Max for about three years now, and it hasn’t been easy finding a stylist with true integrity—someone who genuinely prioritizes the health of your hair, helps it grow, and takes the time to educate you along the way.
At my very first appointment, I came in wanting a relaxer so I could wear clip-ins. After assessing my hair, she was honest and told me a relaxer wasn’t what I needed. Instead, we did a silk press and a significant chop. At the time, my hair was damaged from constant braiding, hopping between random Instagram stylists, and not properly caring for it. I started at ear length, and now my hair has grown to shoulder/back length.

Max knows a lot about hair. She explained what she was doing for me and why, and that helped me understand my hair better. I got washed, nicely blown out for my trim, and I left with a protective style too, which was very neat! My session was very therapeutic, to say the least, and I’m looking forward to seeing my hair flourish throughout our next sessions.
Okay, Dont know where to start! I literally went home and danced in the bathroom because I couldn’t believe how much I loved my hair. I’ve never felt like this before. This experience gave me confidence—not just in my hair, but in myself. This truly feels like the beginning of a journey. Max is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Hair.
