I was looking for a hair spa for locs and was pleasantly surprised to find one in Brooklyn. After not having my hair done for 7 months I initially booked an appointment with Ayaba for full loc maintenance and a loc detox. When I got there it was pretty empty and the door was locked which I liked. People aren’t just walking in and out all Willy Nilly. No one trying to sell you DVDs or perfume. That alone created a safe and relaxed vibe since everyone there is by appointment only. After looking at my locs Ayaba noticed I had a major lint problem in the back. Amazing space, locticians will spoil you with love, laughter, professionalism and great Queenship. I brought four bottles of the hair and body oil frankincense..three men stopped me to tell me I smell great.Very satisfied.
