Lluvia Florist & Café - PERMANENTLY CLOSED

I cannot say enough great things about Lluvia. First of all, it's a café and florist, which means my boyfriend can surprise me with coffee AND flowers with extreme convenience. Maybe I rolled poorly for my perception stat, but I've never encountered a café-florist. A caflorist, if you will. That automatically makes this place special to me. Secondly, their coffee (Counter Culture) is excellent. It doesn't have that weird, rancid fruit sweetness to it that a lot of cafes seem to embrace these days. Numero tres, the only person I've ever seen in the shop is a really nice guy who is very helpful and friendly. He's a great sport when my fluffy dog tries to sniff and play with him as he walks by. On that point, the business is dog friendly. The shop is very tiny and filled to the brim with plants and flowers, so I keep a short leash on my dog to avoid any mishaps. There's no seating inside, but there are, weather permitting, two cute patio tables with two chairs each in front of the store. While they are not a bakery themselves, they do have a few local pastries delivered to them that you can find at the register. As for the flowers, I'm always impressed by their arrangements. Most of them come with flower food, but if not, they can provide a packet with your bouquet. They will also trim the stems of anything you plan to put in a vase. Just ask! Seriously, sometimes I just want to smell this store. All of the plants and flowers make the air so fresh and fragrant. Combined with the aroma of coffee, what more could you want? Last thing I'll say is that I love this place so much that I'm sad when they're unexpectedly closed for the day. We love to support this local, family-owned business and do so as much as we're able to. Definitely give them a try!

This place is so darling! Family owned cafe and plant shop in a great part of Bushwick. Honestly, this place has some of the best plants I've seen out of the cafe/plant stores I've been to. They're very friendly, great atmosphere and their coffee is wonderful! I get my coffee here almost everyday. Check this cool place out!

after moving to Bushwick I was worried I wouldn't find my go-to coffee shop, but luckily I found lluvia immediately! They make amazing coffee and the atmosphere inside is so amazing with all the plants. Plus the family that owns it is so kind. Definitely recommend an oat milk latte, and so many cute plants to choose from!
