Intervals Music School has been amazing. Everything is so professional and well-run. The teachers are skilled, patient, and inspiring. Lessons are thoughtfully structured, combining technique and creativity in a way that keeps learning fun and motivating. For kids, teachers adapt teaching to fit pace and interests, keeping them excited about practicing. Getting back into piano after having taken lessons as a kid, one teacher is very patient and warm, taking time to get to know what encourages and helps make the journey back into playing more sustainable and self-motivating. That teacher has played at Julliard, Lincoln Center, and was invited to play at the 11,000 Strings concert at the Park Ave Armory. Whether a complete beginner or more advanced, the school meets students where they are and helps them grow with encouragement and guidance. Highly recommended for both a great teacher and a music role model.
Getting back into piano after having taken lessons as a kid. What I appreciate about Jess is not just that she’s a great piano teacher, she’s very patient and warm, takes time to get to know what encourages me and what will help make my journey back into playing more sustainable and self-motivating.
