I went to HoG to get a tattoo from Will Hunter, so I can only speak to that experience. Will is amazing, both as an artist and as a kind and knowledgeable guide. Other than that, I can say the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, made the whole experience as easy as possible.
This shop is one of a kind. Amazing artists and support staff. No ego. Down to earth. Patient and kind. And immensely talented. What a breath of fresh air! My wife, son, and I have all had recent tattoos and will be back for more. An extra big shout out to Craig, Anna, Will and Jim.
Absolutely perfect experience! It had taken me 10 years to feel inspired to get a second tattoo, and my concept was deeply personal. I submitted my art and appointment request through the website, and almost immediately got a response. They matched my art to Logan, whose style is in line with what I had designed. He honored the creativity, emotion, and depth of what I had sent them with such delicacy and artistry…. His friendly and varied conversation, as well as the general relaxed and open aura about the place, only added to the 4-hour experience. Logan is a talented and thoughtful artist, and this place is a neighborhood treasure.
