I came here for a basic haircut recently. It was affordably priced and the stylist took his time but, I felt at times he had no idea what I was trying to communicate to him. However, most of the employees here were very friendly unlike other salons. The cost did include a wash which was surprising as other Asian salons charge extra for wash. At one salon, they told me their haircuts prices only include the cost of a dry cut. Thankfully, they washed my hair here and it was soothing experience. I showed the stylist how I wanted my hair and he did exactly what I wanted. Hair straightening prices have drastically increased. It was $120, $150 in 2021... current price to date is $170 and $200, almost 50% increase. Their storefront window price does not reflect current service charge. Result is fairly the same. I've been regular customer for 18 years. The shampoo lady was more on the rough side today, basically shoved my head up and down during shampooing. For the price that they're charging now, I may start looking for another hair salon. Their only selling point to me was affordable hair treatment but now it's comparable to their competitors.
