My first experience at GVH was years ago with my cat, and it was great—super nice staff. Now I have three dogs, and we’ve already visited twice. I truly trust this place because they take excellent care of my dogs. The clinic is clean, cozy, and very welcoming. That’s all that matters to me.
I’ve been to many veterinary clinics since my cat Freya and I moved to New York City three and a half years ago, and this is by far the best one we’ve visited. The service is exceptional, and the entire team is incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. I felt truly heard and listened to by the doctor, who did not try to push any unnecessary tests or treatments (which, unfortunately, is rare in the city). Their pricing is also very fair and reasonable compared to many other clinics in the area. The doctor created a simple, comprehensive plan for Freya and helped put my fears at ease. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Zelman for the compassion and care she showed during one of the hardest moments of my life. Saying goodbye to my dog Elvis was heartbreaking, but Dr. Zelman made the process as peaceful and dignified as possible.
She took the time to explain every step with patience and kindness, never rushing me, and always making sure my dog Elvis felt safe and comfortable. The gentleness in her voice, the way they spoke to my dog Elvis, and the respect they showed us both will stay with me forever.
