I haven’t had my haircut in probably over a decade. I have long hair and have always worn it up in a ponytail. Callie gave me a cut that I could wear down and it’s so light and different, I don’t know why I waited so long. I let her really cut it how she thought best would suit me and she did an amazing job. She was so nice and personable. I am so happy to have found a stylist in the neighborhood.

Shout out to Callie! The best haircut I've had in the city. I have long hair, mid-low back, and needed to get some weight off while still maintaining some length (I'm not ready to make the big chop just yet). The shape, the layers, the texture... *chefs kiss*. She took her time and has an eye for detail, it was everything. The whole experience from the moment you walk in is absolutely charming. Since Fumi closed, I have been searching desperately to find an awesome, experienced hairstylist. I reached out to the former receptionist, John, and he recommended Setsuko. Setsuko had worked with Fumi for a number of years, and I finally received a haircut from her today and it has been the best experience since Fumi. Setsuko takes her time, she listens, and shapes your hair like a magician. Amazing work and I'm thrilled to have found her. She is located at 247 Water Street in Brooklyn.
