Fatou, the owner, is always very polite and professional. I have been getting my hair braided at her shop for over 15 years!

One of the best places for box braids and cornrows in Brooklyn. I have been going here for a little over two years. They embody Harlem quality hair and braiding techniques. Fatou herself is the best, but she has a strong team as well. They are all very nice (not all speak fluent English, so bear with them, our language is complex) and they help each other out, so long as they do not have clients of their own at the time. Walk-ins and appointments are welcomed. I recommend calling ahead to set a specific time, they will adhere to it. If you are seeking waist length Box Braids, keep in mind that you will be paying for the number of hair packs used, as well as the length. Be a great client and do not try to haggle :-). You will be satisfied with the results. If the braiding is too tight, speak up, they will work with you. Fatou's daughter has the hands of a goddess. She is neat and fast when helping her mom out. If she could be an actual employee, I would go to her always.
