About Equinox Brooklyn Heights

Equinox Brooklyn Heights offers a high-quality fitness experience, with friendly front desk staff, various classes, and clean facilities. However, the gym is a bit small and can get crowded during peak hours. It is more expensive than other luxury gyms in the area, which may be a drawback for some. The location has a chill vibe, but members might find it challenging to commute to other Equinox locations in the city. Some users have reported issues with the availability of treadmills and one of the SoulCycle bikes being frequently out of order. Overall, Equinox Brooklyn Heights provides a solid gym experience, but potential members should weigh the price against the benefits before making a decision.

I noticed that a lot of the feedback mentions this gym being less up to date than other locations. That may be true, but I have been to nearly every Equinox from the Upper East Side through Brooklyn during my two years as a member. Out of all the all access gyms, none compare to the Brooklyn Heights location when it comes to instructors. The instructors here are so exceptional that I will travel specifically for their classes even when there is A much more convenient location.

The facilities are fine, definitely lower end than other Equinoxes which is a bummer since it’s the same price. Would recommend getting all access so you can utilize other locations. The yoga classes are consistently disappointing compared to other locations (and yoga studios in the area) as well.

we went there for an intro class. we left a sweater in the locker, and it was stolen..

at this price point you would expect to have lockers with digital locks, as we were only visiting we didnt know about this and wasnt offered a lock.

the overall gym looks tired and the class I tried was not engaging at all.

The coach had an injured leg so he wasnt able to show the moves, which would be ok but with so many different level of people in a class everyone was doing something different.

I went to visit other options in the area and think there are way better options at this price point.
