We had a fantastic experience celebrating our four year old's birthday at Downtown Dance Factory! The kids loved it, they were giggling and smiling as they danced, completed obstacle courses and played games to all their favorite tunes. The dance teachers were wonderful and the rest of the staff were very proactive in setting up, serving food/drinks and cleaning up afterwards. They even pack everything left over to easily go with us. We would definitely recommend as a fun and easy kid's party!
What I love about Downtown Dance Factory is that it has something for dancers of all interests and abilities -- students can take a class just for fun or they can pursue a total dance specialization that lands them at Laguardia and Juilliard. The word "factory" gave me a little pause at the beginning lol but I've been so impressed with the talent and obvious joy DDF dancers feel when they take the stage. It's clear the place takes excellent care of its dancers as individuals and provides them with a well-rounded and enriching experience. My daughter absolutely loves it.
My daughter absolutely loves downtown dance factory! The classes and teachers are amazing. The teachers are great with kids and have a load of dance experience. The in-house store carries everything you need for you dancer and more! The birthday parties are great! We hosted 33 kids plus parents last year and it was the perfect sized party space. The kids had a ton of fun and DDF helped me do everything! The recitals are phenomenal! Last year my husband and I were so surprised and impressed by how amazing the recitals are and the quality of dancing. We were so excited to see the recital again this year and it didn’t disappoint.
