I wish I could give 0 stars!!! I came here 2 weeks ago because I got recommended. A little back story, I big chopped in November 2018 it's been almost a year I have let my hair grow back 100% natural. Now I came here because I really needed a trim and I was excited for a length check. I WENT WITH HEALTHY HAIR. I bought my own shampoo and conditioner cause u never know what people use on your hair. I asked for a wash and blow which I thought was $35 plus the $5 for a trim but ended up being $52?. The wash lady was nice but The lady who blew out my hair did not use heat protectant and I know that's my fault for not getting up and leaving cause obviously she didn't know what she was doing. She also constantly burned me with the blow dryer, who puts a hot blow drying to someone's edges!?? And even after I kept telling her it burns she kept saying sorry and kept doing it. She then flat ironed my hair AFTER BLOWING IT OUT STRAIGHT, cut my ends and sent me on my way. I will say I did enjoy my hair straight however when it came wash day for me this was my result!. My hair is breaking extremely and is damaged from ONE TIME AT THE SALON. this was the price I paid for being lazy and not doing the shit myself!
So. Best. This family run and owned beauty oasis will have your hair, hands and feet poppin. Cha heard? I love that it's of the neighborhood, that the abuela whipping that hair into silky submission. That the heart of the business beats strong, pumping out love and taking in love with equal finesse. This is a woman owned biz, and it's dope. Her daughter? Served in the Armed Forces, now training to be a doctor. Also, it's filled with such good energy, I'm all-in. All this to say-this is why Brooklyn is the place to be. Cause we get it done, with heart, with grit and grace. Periodttt
