Wow, Maxine is patient and professional. I had my first color, lol, she made it a nice experience. She is NOT scissor-happy! She doesn't force her clients to get a service that they are not ready for. However, once you are ready, she is your first cheerleader, trust me lol. She embodies women's empowerment!

it was my second time going to maxine and i just can’t put into words what an amazing experience it is. she is so kind and intentional, from the way she interacts with you to the work she does. and the hair? she has a gift! i have truly never felt more confident than i do now. i used to think i had to wait for my hair to be a certain way before i could wear it out in my fro, but ive realized how untrue that was and im grateful i found this salon!
