Wonderful studio. Serious without being too serious. Treats dancing like an art, but all kids have talent and are special. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere created by the front desk was very judgmental and uncomfortable. I'm especially horrified as a mom of a 5yr old and not being allowed to accompany her to changing room, as well as the offensive and aggressive manner I was told "you can't be here" - I'm happy to follow the rules, but I was singled out and it felt ver disrespectful. Bottom line, I'm not comfortable sending my daughter back.

My 3 year old daughter went to Cobble Hill Ballet this past fall/winter and winter/spring season, and we could not have asked for a better first experience with dance. She went from being so nervous and very hesitant to participate, to confident and in love with ballet. Ballet was easily her favorite part of the week and she would run through every single thing she learned at home after class just because she enjoyed it so much.The staff are incredibly kind and skilled and do a marvelous job of engaging the children and making it so much fun, while also teaching them and keeping an age appropriate structure in place.
