Have had mostly good experiences here, with a couple rough ones. Some of the teachers are very kind and considerate, but there was one time where I went to a beginning jumps and turns class, and most of the people there were professional dancers; I asked a question about a piece of choreography, and the teacher said, in front of everyone, “if this is hard for you then dance may not be for you.” I left and reported her immediately. BDC apologized for her behavior and credited me so I give it more stars for them taking accountability and rectifying the situation. There can be a problem with overcrowding and I wish teachers would explain spacing to newbies so that everyone... read full review

Years ago, I bought a package of dance classes here. It was a great work out & fun. The professor Qsnewz (I think that was his nickname) was patient and talented. I had a blast! Recommended!

Every time I come to NYC (from 18 to 36 years old) I take a mix of classes here and remember why I love dancing. All the teachers I’ve taken from are great but Jason Wise’s class is one of my favs! He’s a phenomenal teacher and creates a safe/playful environment to just have fun. Bravo
