Michelle was an exceptional makeup artist for my wedding! Not only did she do a lovely job with my bridal makeup (which lasted all night) she crushed it with my giant wedding party. Aside from makeup, she became a huge source of calm throughout the wedding. Not only did she make sure my makeup was good to go, she helped me with my tiara, veil, and entrance, even chasing a random loose dog down the aisle when a non guest let them off the leash near by. I couldn't be more grateful to Michelle! And in the wedding photos you can really tell the makeup was high quality. Me and all of my bridesmaids were thrilled. You can't pick a better makeup artist for your day!
I cannot say enough great things about Michelle and her team! Michelle was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions during the booking process, which was especially helpful being an out-of-state bride. On wedding day, her calm energy put me at ease as 9 of us got our hair and makeup done - not only were we on time, but it was stress-free! All of my girls absolutely loved their final look and were so thrilled that it lasted all night long! I truly felt my absolute best on my wedding day and can't thank Michelle enough for bringing my hair and makeup vision to life!
Firstly, Michelle is an exceptionally talented makeup artist! I've seen her editorial work and was delighted to find out she did bridal makeup as well. From the trial to the actual day Michelle was professional with a delicate and talented hand. I remember the trial day was a rainy gray spring-summer day. I wanted a much bolder look on that day (Deep red lips with marroon accented eyeshadow and winged eye liner) and I loved it! The look lasted from day to night, even enduring a dinner out with a flash storm. I ended up changing my mind last minute with my makeup look, wanting to go a more traditional 30s/40s vibe, and when I reached out to Michelle she was A-OK with the change. (Thank you!) From the initial request to the wedding day, her communication was on point, even when mine was not. I forgot to mention that one of my bridesmaids is immunocompromised but she had a mask on hand! (Thank you thank you!) She worked on myself and 2 bridesmaids in a small nyc hotel suite with not enough surfaces but she made it work! She is so easy to talk to and such a calming presence; she was a wonderful additional to our getting ready crew. I don't know what magic she used but my makeup lasted the entire day, through multiple crying and laugh crying sessions and eating and drinking, and I have the pictures to prove it! I would recommend Michelle to anyone in a heartbeat!
