Black Square Tattoo is considered the best tattoo shop in NYC. It is a great local spot with very fair and solid prices, especially compared to other shops. All the artists are friendly, super chill, and do amazing work. They make clients feel comfortable and are skilled in traditional, fine line, and tiny tattoos. The staff does an amazing job at their craft, providing great experiences. Customers are often in and out quickly and many state they will definitely be back and highly recommend it.

Best tattoo shop in nyc! Amazing work they do there. And everyone is super chill. Whether you are looking for traditional, fineline, or just a tiny tatt they are the best. Prices are super solid as well. Highly recommend

Walked in and got a tattoo from Brendan- I very much recommend him! The place was clean, the people friendly and the tattoo was exactly what I wanted where I wanted it. I typically go to a different studio but I'll be back here again. He did a great job with getting the lines as thin as I wanted.
