This was a quick stop because I ran out of pasta. Well the good thing is that it is renovated. The shelves were fully stocked with items. It reminds me of D'agostinos. They have a great section with fresh salads, chicken cutlets, fresh sauces etc. The downside is the prices. Everything is inflated which I expect it to be for a Bay Ridge Supermarket. Not sure if I will return or go to the Met Food a few blocks away.

I'm not a huge fan of this place. I only come here to pick up a few things but never to do a food shopping. The fruit looks so delicious when buying them till you get them home, wash them then eat then and they going bad. It happened a few times. Then I bought ice cream once and when I opened it, it looked like it was defrosted and they froze it again. Look out for the meat because they don't always look fresh either. Sometimes with the managers sale the price is never in the system so the cashier has to go look for the item to see if what u said was true. I'm fine with them double checking but it should be in the system. Someone also told me they store their fruits and fish maybe even the meats next door in the pizzeria that's closed down. So all of that is sitting in a stuffy hot area and they still sell it.

Awesome market. Produce is all fresh (unlike other groceries in Bay Ridge), the aisles are well thought out. It's not a "supermarket" but they carry an amazing variety of products that other stores don't. The deli counter has pre-made meals that are generously portioned, fresh and delicious! Staff is very engaging and helpful. Their meats are fresh and well packaged. There are butchers on site and I often see him perusing the meat aisle to make sure everything is well stocked. And the best thing ever is they carry Bell & Evans chicken!! A real old fashioned Brooklyn food market!
